Welcome Lincoln!

Well, I am officially an aunt again. Amber went to the doctor's office yesterday for her weekly checkup and the doctor sent her to the hospital around noon. Just a few short hours later, Lincoln was born. I'm a bad aunt and don't know all the details. I do know he weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and has the chubbiest cheeks! Dan, Caroline and I got to the hospital just a few minutes after he was born. Caroline is beyond thrilled! However, when she and I were giving him his first bath, Lincoln decided to tell us how he felt about being naked and wet! Caroline turned to Amber and said, "I think I'm starting to get tired of him like with Wrigley"! Guess she forgot that babies like to cry!

Addictions!

Any of you close to me have probably already realized that I have a serious addiction...to farming! One of my friends at work got me hooked on the game Farm Town on Facebook. At first, I thought it was just a silly game, something to do in the long hours of the night to help pass the time. Well, now it is all I do. I have to check my crops first thing when I wake up, last thing before I go to bed, and any time I can get near a computer. Sometimes I check it even when I know my crops won't be ready for harvesting for hours just to see how they look. I've discovered that if I plant my whole field with grapes right when I get to work, I can then harvest and replant twice more during my shift...that's because the grapes are ready in just four short hours. Now, the true addicts have sold their souls, they purchase coins with their debit cards, sign up for book clubs, music clubs, anything really to get a few coins. I pride myself in the fact that I have not stooped to that level. However, I have sold myself into slavery to other farmers just to get those extra 15 coins!
